By the author's second visit to Lake Inawashiro in the summer of 1934 the following facts were known :-
1) The most important factor which controls the pH-value of this acid water lake is sulphuric acid or sulphurous acid.
2) A tolerable coincidence is seen between the distribution of the pH-values and the amount of sulphate as shown in figs. 1 and 2.
3) The acidic water has been brought into the lake by the river Nagase, as it was observed in the preceding year. (Indicated by the direction of arrows in fig. 1).
4) In the surface laver of the lake, sulphurous acid seems to be oxidized to sulphuric acid, markedly diminishing the dissolved oxygen content in that layer.
