Abstract
A 29-year-old Japanese woman was seen at the hospital because of a tumor of the left breast. It was a secretory carcinoma, and Auchincloss's modified radical mastectomy was carried out. An elastic hard mass, 1.0×0.8 cm in size, was present in the border of a and C areas of the left breast. The tumor was diagnosed as secretory carcinoma by excisional biopsy, and was composed of solid nests of claster of cancer cells which had clear cytoplasms and ovoid hyperchromatic nuclei. No metastasis in the resected axillary lymph nodes was evident microscopically and it was classified in stage I (t1, n0, m0).
