山地河道に見られるステップ・プール構造の形態とその規定要因に関する研究

In this research, we divided step-pool structures into three parts which are riffles, runs, and pools to investigate the characteristics of step-pool structures further more. Through the field observation, we classified riffles into two types which are "cascade type" and "transverse rib type", and also runs into two types which are "jammed" or "non-jammed".

At the same time, we measured several physical factors such as longitudinal profile of riverbed configuration, grain size distribution, and gradients to investigate the relationships among these factors. As a result, we found that the characteristics of riffles are influenced by the large-scale slope of mountains, and the characteristics of runs are influenced by the size ratio between d84 and d50.
