Reduction in maintenance management costs and environmental influence by the river channel excavation are a problem at the river where maintenance excavation is performed to reserve the river discharge capacity to be planned to the flood control in the estuary.
Therefore, a measure for an excavation method, for controlling bed load sediment, and for reduction of the influence on river environment by going upstream of poor oxygen water mass caused by excavation is considered in such a river.
In this study, we developed a method of monitoring riverbed variation during a flood continuously. Furthermore, based on the monitoring results, we constructed a riverbed variation model.
