In recent years, heavy rainfall disasters have become severer in Japan. Moreover, the complex disasters and railways damages caused by debris flow have increased. However, there are few studies that reported the risks of the complex disasters. Therefore, we extracted the high rick areas for complex disaster by using the map data files of the debris flow damage potential zone, the river, and the railway (excluding Shinkansen). Moreover, we evaluated the risk of the complex disaster in detail by debris flow simulations. As a result, the 164 zones of the 9805 debris flow damage potential zones specified in Yamaguchi Prefecture had high risks of the complex disaster due to the debris flow. In addition, the complex disaster potential map and sediment deposition potential map were created. Our results suggested that the debris flow simulation is useful for clarifying the risks of the complex disasters.
