Abstract
It is significant to identify those factors that affect the expert’s skillful performance in order to design a user-friendly automated system and/or a naturalistic human-machine interface. For this purpose, we’ll apply Bedny’s Systemic-Structural Analysis of work activity based upon Activity Theory to the analysis of human-machine interactions. This paper discusses the results of Systemic-Structural analysis of attentional behavior in supervisory control task of NC operation.
