Abstract
This paper deals with communication of a partner robot from the viewpoint of ecological psychology. We have developed partner robots. In this paper, we focus on communication based on the concept of perceiving-acting cycle of ecological psychology. We apply modular neural networks to realize a perceiving-acting cycle model for a partner robot. In this paper, we discuss the form of communication between human and a partner robot through navigation experiments.
