Abstract
For learning the Japanese character, it is desirable that we master how to write correctly through handwriting. Students must study the way of handwriting by observing the teacher's model sequence of handwriting in order to acquiring the writing skills of letter shape and stroke order. However, our Japanese learning environment is not sufficient for individual learning such as the teacher guides each student. In this report, we describe the handwriting learning system that the learner can get the feeling of brush movement in handwriting. The system shows the brush sequential movement of the model character through force feedback pen (haptic device).
