Abstract
PCM synthesis is a method for synthesizing sound of musical instruments.By this method, a real sound of an instrument is recorded into digital data. The sound by PCM will be similar to the real one,however it needs very large memory size.We therefore introduce subspace identification for sound synthesis,and identify the sound generator system by using sound with noise.We show that our method needs less memory than PCM.
