An Application of data-mining in industrial production process

Abstract

This paper describes applications of data-mining in industrial production process. In the field of economy, qualitative data-mining is often utilized. In contrast, the data-mining in industrial process is often quantitative. It's used for quality improvement by prediction model, soft-sensor and so on. We've developed the data-mining method specified for time-series process data and applied it to several applications. In this paper, the technical summary and several applications of our data-mining are introduced.
