Abstract
This study proposes a scheduling method based on a two-way auction in a large job shop under ubiquitous environment, that jobs and machines with intelligent information processing capability become auctioneers in turn to attain an appropriate schedule to the system loading condition. The effectiveness of proposed method is demonstrated by simulation.
