Abstract
In this article, we consider interpolation problem of non-uniformly decimated signals. This problem is equivalent to one of designing synthesis filterbanks. Assuming that the original signals are completely band-limited, the solution is given by a synthesis filter with complex coefficients. However, in reality such a filter cannot be implemented and the assumption cannot be satisfied. Therefore, we propose a design of the optimal filter which minimizes the H-infinity norm of the error system via sampled-data control theory.
