Fundamental research for control of complex microbial systems

Abstract

Recently, the process which the microbial activity is controlled optimal is required in the complex microbial systems with complicated interactions such as the compost, the methane fermentation, and the hydrogen fermentation, etc. from the biomass waste. In this research, the equipment which estimated composting speed by changing temperature, moisture content, pH, etc was developed and it confirmed that microbial activity could be evaluated the optimal.
