Stability analysis for amplitude death in a pair of long-time-delay oscillators

Abstract

The present paper shows that amplitude death, the diffusive connection induced stabilization of unstable fixed points, can occur in a pair of coupled long-time-delay oscillators. The stability analysis for amplitude death is achieved by using the cluster treatment of characteristic roots technique. This technique allows us to derive the boundary curves of stability regions on a parameter space.
