Abstract
Shokei University and Tzu Chi University have been carrying out exchanges with each other for 10 years now. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the exchange agreement in 2021, this report reviews the history between the universities since before their original exchange agreement and describes the exchange activities （study tours, short-term language seminars abroad, and exchange programs） between the two. The universities are a good match for each other due to having several similarities, such as both being small universities located in suburban cities with similar majors offered, and having students who tend to be introverts and localities which are more inward-looking. These conditions have allowed for the two-way activities defined in the memorandum of understanding（ MOU） to continue annually.
