As a substitution of ethylene glycol, the antifreeze solution for road heating which made of potassium acetate to be main component was developed. In this report, corrosion test for various piping materials, operation test using actual road heating systems and biodegradable test were carried out, in order to clarify the applicability of this solution to road heating systems.
