The amount of energy, which is used to run air-conditioning during driving car, is enormous especially in summer. In this research, the inner thermal environment was compared between a car with normal glass and a car with solar reflective glass. The result showed a reduction in interior temperature of the car with reflective glass. The other experiment was planned to reveal how the reduction of heat energy into a car cabin affect on fuel economy when the car is driven with air-conditioning. The result showed better fuel economy for less heat energy entering into a car.
