Individual heat pump heating and cooling systems have been prevailed widely, because they can be easily operated by occupants themselves at every rooms. While, some of them are forgotten to stop when occupants leave the room. To prevent this energy waste, authors have tested a method of stopping all machines at once by central maintenance systems late at night. Of course occupants who want to continue to stay in the room can start to operate it again by themselves. By this "hybrid operating system", more over 50% of operating hours will be saved especially in winter.
