Abstract
An advantage of application of permeable roofing sheet to the outside of plywood was already confirmed when rain penetration occurs at the outside surface of the plywood. However, the advantage of the permeable roofing has not been clear yet, when moisture penetrates from the humid room such as phenomena of concealed condensation. In this paper, four types of roof assemblies were compared by hygrothermal analysis, and applicable area of the permeable roofing sheet based on climate data was studied. As a result the advantage of the permeable roofing sheet was verified when the moisture penetration from the room occurs.
