E-72 Evaluation of Subjective Thermal Comfort and Human Body Cooling of Spot Cooling System : Part.2 Psychology Reactions

Abstract

Subjects voted their thermal sensation, comfort sensation, air velocity sensation in the experiments. When a diffuser was not used, subjective comfort sensation was the greatest at 19℃ and 400m^3/h of supply air volume from spot cooling system, where they felt "slightly cool". However, they felt the draft in this environment. It was possible to cool down their whole body using the diffuser. Subjects preferred the condition with the diffuser, where they felt "thermally neutral".
