If snow and ice can be kept and utilized as cooling sources for space cooling, they will have possibility of energy conservation and CO_2 reduction. Thermal utilizations of snow and ice have been noticeable since the Law Concerning Special Measures to Promote the Use of New Energy was amended to add the use of them. Firstly, this paper presents Snow Storage System by using a renovated space that we propose for the purpose of initial cost saving. Secondly, the system outline, which is applied to an actual office in Asahikawa City, is shown.
