抄録
In this research, in the case of the project where the office building converted into an apartment-house in Ota Ward, the progress of designing and the problems during the process were understood, and, the simulation analysis on the final proposal model which has the minimum insulation and the buffer space established in the south facade was done to examine the difference of the thermal environment before and after conversion. In addition, the effect on the cooling and heating load reduction by improving building performances and the effect of resident's action of cross-ventilation were also examined.
