Double-skin facade is recently installed to many buildings in Japan, because it is the best system in glass facades for buildings. This system can promote natural ventilation, and achieve transparent and energy-saving building. This paper will reports the effect and performance of the double-skin facade on insulation efficiency and sun shading function by measuring an office building for one year.
