This paper reports the results of measurements of indoor thermal loads in two general merchandising stores, in which packaged and multi-type air-conditioners (EHP and GHP) are used. The indoor thermal loads through a year were estimated based on the results of the partial thermal load tests of air-conditioners and the measured results of the electric power consumption (or gas consumption) and outdoor temperature. We compared the indoor thermal loads measured in two stores with those given by the model recommended in JIS B 8616:2006 and evaluated the validity of this conventional model.
