In order to evaluate in situ performance of energy recovery ventilation system in an experimental apartment house, which employs not only heating systems but also simulated human behaviors and household electrical appliances, has been operated. The experimental result shows relationship between internal-external temperature difference and heat recovery efficiency and reduction of ventilation load which can be reduced by approximately 70% during most cold period in Tsukuba city.
