In recent years, increased energy consumption in Middle East caused owing to increase of the air conditioner demand by advancement of urbanization. For energy consumption reduction, effects of cooling by evaporation at urban areas on artificial island and desert planted trees attract attentions. In this study, these urban areas are measured on the spot and analyzed by CFD. Based on it, effectiveness of artificial island and desert planted trees are confirmed.
