The results of measurements of indoor thermal loads in two different merchandising stores, in which packaged and multi-type air-conditioners (EHP) are used, are reported. The indoor thermal loads through a year were estimated based on the results of the partial thermal load tests of air-conditioners and the measured results of the electric power consumption and outdoor temperature. We compared the indoor thermal loads measured in two stores with those given by the models recommended JIS B 8616:2006 and CASCADE III, and evaluated the validity of those conventional models.
