A standardization of modularized CFD elements for architectural environmental designs is under way at a SHASE committee. In the heart of the works is a draft of standardized XML-based format which is intended to provide architectural elements such as air-conditioning inlets and outlets as computational boundary conditions for CFD. Even in the early stage of the format definitions, it should be noted that verifying how the proposed format works through actual implementations to production-level CFD software is important. In this paper, the implementations are attempted and tested with the four software: FlowDesigner, STREAM, WindPerfectDX and OpenFOAM.
