We developed the new type axial flow cyclone dust collector and applied it to the intake hood for house ventilation system with the air cleaning function. This new axial flow cyclone dust collector, which is compact and has high capture rate and low pressure loss, will be useful in solving filter maintenance problems. However, there remain several problems to be solved for practical use of this cyclone intake hood, for example, a way to eject the dust captured by cyclone. The purpose of this investigation is to solve these problems in order to complete useful cyclone intake hood.
