Cool roofs reduce energy use in buildings, lower heat pollutant in urban areas, and decrease greenhouse gas emissions from urban areas. In this study, the field measurement was set some simplified ponds on the roof of the dormitory of Fukui National college of Technology. The field measurement results show the mitigation effects of some simplified ponds for indoor thermal comfort.
