To inversely estimate ventilation parameters, We reproduced data from a tracer gas experiment using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation and estimated the ventilation rate and effective room volume using two different methods: probabilistic estimation based on Bayes’ theorem, and deterministic estimation using the quasi-Newton method.
