A short review of common Evaporative Cooling (EC) types and the basic physics of EC applied in thermal comfort models vs. fans, standard air conditioning, etc. are evaluated. This paper is a short version of a workshop presented at the Comfort At The Extremes 2019 (CATE) conference in Dubai.
