Patterns of thermal sensation votes with indoor temperature by gender in Japanese dwellings

The objectives for this study are to investigate gender differences in the distribution of thermal sensation vote and clothing insulation, comfort temperature and the patterns of thermal sensation with indoor air temperature. The results showed that 98% of male and 96% of female voted within comfort band and thermal sensation of female would have no different with male when there was a larger difference in their clothing insulation
