This paper includes the resul-ts of the flotation tests on copper-zinc are using dithizone as collector. The main results obtained are as follows,
(1) The higher value of selectivity index is obtained by dithizone than by xanthate.
(2) H2S gas is an effective reagent in differential flotation of copper-zinc are to depress the zinc minerals, but it is necessary to regulate the concentration of H2S gas in a pulp in a narrow range.
(3) The pH value must be selected in a range between 6 and 7.
