ジャーナル フリーMany researchers presented till now several theories on outbursts process of coal, gas or rock. In Japan almost all the people in coal mines believe that the outbursts phenomena of coal and gas are quite different from that of rock. According to a certain Russian scientist, however, these are sometimes originally same and caused by strain potential energy which was enclosed in strata during mountain-making movement.
In order to find the most suitable means to protect us from an outburst catastrophe, it is very necessary to know the value of this potential strain energy.
In this paper the energy with three factors, i.e. kinetic energy of an outburst, temperature increase of outbursted coal or rock and breaking energy of coal seam or rock strata, are theoretically analysed and practically valued.
This paper shows the greatness of potential strain energy of an outburst-more than 10 times as much as static earth pressure on the spot-and the boring of long bore holes into seams are not enough for protection from outburst catastrophes. ジャーナル フリーThis paper includes the authors'experiments measuring the impeller characteristics with No.15-type F. W.-flotator with guide vanes around the impeller and photographing the flow-patterns of air bubbles inside as well as outside of the impeller with a transparent No.5-type F. W.-flotator.
Major experimental results are summarized as follows;
1) By fitting pulp circulation holes to the hood plate, the flow-pattern of pulp between blades of impeller was improved and the stagnating area of air-bubbles was narrowed.
2) By enclosing the impeller with guide vanes, the flow-pattern within the impeller was found much more improved, and consequently the quantity of open air blown in were increased with the increase of exit velocity head and total head coefficient.
3) By proper selection of the guide vane and circulation hole of the hood-plate, the required inducing air capacity and pulp agitating action were found practicable with the use of rather small size impeller with comparatively low peripheral velocity and the minimum power.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (6043K) -

ジャーナル フリーThis paper includes the resul-ts of the flotation tests on copper-zinc are using dithizone as collector. The main results obtained are as follows,
(1) The higher value of selectivity index is obtained by dithizone than by xanthate.
(2) H2S gas is an effective reagent in differential flotation of copper-zinc are to depress the zinc minerals, but it is necessary to regulate the concentration of H2S gas in a pulp in a narrow range.

ジャーナル フリーAs the deposited silicon deecribed previously was lump or particle form of polycrystal, it was made into a single crystal by Czochralski method, and its properties were measured.
In the early runs, the sample obtained directly from the non-distilled material by the hydrogen reduction showed N type and about 60Ω-cm in resistivity, however in the latter runs using more purified hydrogen and larger eguipment, it showed less trouble in pulling and better properties. Si obtained by a quartz helices packed column of 30 plates indicated P type and more than 100Ω-cm, and one obtained by stainless steel Dixon packed column of 80 plates showed N type and 200Ω-cm. The distribution of resistivity was uniform in the sample obtained by distillation process.
;Boron bases of Si obtained from raw SiHCl3and distilled SiHCl3by stainless steel Dixon packed column were 0.8 ppb and 0.4 ppb respectively. Life time and concentration ob oxygen were also estimated.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (2793K) -
