This work is concerned with the development of a signal processing algorithm for checkweighers to realize much higher speed of operation and highly accurate measurement of mass of object during crossing a conveyor belt. The experimental results on checkweighers suggest that the filtering algorithm of FIR type designed under the consideration on the dynamics of checkweighers is effective enough to practical applications.
