Japanese Participation in the Development of The International Fieldbus Specification

抄録

This report introduces various aspects of relation of Japan to the development of the FOUNDATION Fieldbus, an international industrial standard from participation to the technical discussion and acceleration of standardization activity to implementation of the standards. IEC61158 is the base of FOUNDATION Fieldbus technology. And Japanese engineers participated in many ways in both IEC committee and Fieldbus Foundation technical teams. I hope this article help you to consider about Japanese strategy to future international standardization activities.
