In this paper, we propose a hybrid analog-digital system for detection of plural two-dimensional(2-D) light spot positions. The system consists of three parts; matrix sensor array unit, analog peak detecting unit and digital interpolation unit. First, the system receives the plural light spots by the matrix sensor array unit. Next, the sensor elements produce peak values are detected by analog peak detecting unit. Finally, the actual 2-D positions of the plural light spots are evaluated using digital interpolation unit which consists of FPGA.
