We report the records of four bird species observed in Kochi Prefecture recent years. We showed the grounds of the identification with the photographs of observed birds, which were the Scaly-sided Merganser Mergus squamatus, the Citrine Wagtail Motacilla citreola citreola, the Asian Rosy Finch Leucosticte arctoa brunneonucha and the Pallas’s Rosefinch Carpodacus roseus
