Two moray eels, Gymnothorax isingteena (Richardson, 1845) and Gymnothorax pseudothyrsoideus (Bleeker, 1852) are reported for the first time from Urado Estuary in Kochi City on middle coast of Tosa Bay, southern Japan. In Kochi Prefecture these two species have been known only from western district.
