抄録
This paper analyzes the type of mathematical problems that are integral to the "College Scholastic Ability Test, the South Korean university entrance examination" and examines the special features of Korean mathematics education. First, a comparison is made between Korean problems and those found on Japanese university entrance examinations. Next, mathematical education is examined from the viewpoint of its ultimate purpose, usefulness. Furthermore, suggestions are given for using the special features of their native math education to help prepare Korean academic exchange students.
