The main aim of this short paper is to introduce the Kaqchikel Child Language Corpus, which is currently under development in the JSPS KAKENHI project FALCOHN (Field-Based Approaches to Language, Cognition, and Human Nature; PI: Masatoshi Koizumi). First, I introduce the basic properties of Kaqchikel grammar, then I explain how the Kaqchikel Child Language Corpus can make a unique contribution to the CHILDES Project. Potential future topics are also discussed in the last section.
