In this paper, a model of the relationship between the travel decision-making process and the use of information sources is presented. The proposed model illustrates the travel decision-making process as well as the use of various information sources before and during the trip, and a continuum of tourists, which aims to include tourists of all types based on the degree of 'freedom' exercised in decision-making, is introduced. Consequently, it should fill the gap in the literature from a marketing and consumer behavior perspective, as well as contribute to enhancing our understanding of the use of information sources for travel decision-making in various segments.
