This study examines the relationships between demographic characteristics of hotel employees and turnover disposition. A turnover disposition calls what divided the average length of service by the number of times of average change of job. ”Turnover disposition” here using a meaning called the ease of carrying out of change of job. Investigation used the history data of people who registered with a Japanese employment and outplacement agency from November, 1998 to September, 2001. Hotel employee turnover data was created on the basis of the individual resume, the job curriculum vitae, and the follow-up interview card. The findings show that there are significant differences between demographic characteristics of employees and type turnover disposition. Age, marital status and turnover disposition showed a negative relationship, education level and turnover disposition showed positive relationship. It is clear that young employees, mostly single, with high education level have a high turnover disposition.
