Abstract
The role-play training is effective for project management education. In order for a learner to effectively acquire project management skills, we have developed a software agent system which can play a role of a mentor. The mentor agent supports learners to progress a role-play training, instructs knowledge of project management, and leads the training. The mentor agent allows learners to consider interest of a stakeholder, have sense of ownership, and share information required to make a decision. The mentor agent system was implemented in cooperation with the online-group-work training system which has been already developed. This paper describes the structure of the mentor agent system. According to the questionnaire survey about role-play training supported by a mentor agent, the effectiveness of the agent which plays a mentor is described.
