2810 Project leader's roles & issues for developing International Standards of IT equipment's acoustical noise emissions

Abstract

The author has been in charge of the ISO project leader for international standardization of acoustical noise measurement of IT equipment, more than 10 years. During this decade, many things are changing, including the standardization bodies, their working group members, communication tools, as well as the products of interest. Along that way, the roles and tasks of project leader are also changing. This paper reports the approaches reviewed from view point of project management.
