Abstract
We have categorized the knowledge of the senior IT architects and our best practices of IT architecture. The names of the two documents are "Infrastructure design patterns" and "Architecture patterns". This paper describes how to categorize the patterns, and our use cases of them. Infrastructure design patterns has 40 categories, which contains 182 patterns. Architecture patterns has 4 categories, which contains 15 patterns. These documents are useful for not only the IT architect but also the project manager. By using them, we succeeded in the man-hour reduction and decrease the risk of some projects. In addition, we have also used them for IT architect and project manager's training.
