2509 A Statistical Analysis of Effective Factor in Software Development Project

Abstract

For effective project management, we evaluated the competency of the project manager and the risk factor of the project in the software development project. We analyzed the relevance between these evaluate consequence and the success or failure of the project by using statistical model. And we extracted the factor which influenced the success or failure of the project according to competency score of project manager quantitatively. Furthermore, we investigate empirical knowledge of expert project manager about the result of analyzing. As a result, we got the prospect that the evaluation about project and project manager could support risk management of the project.
