The terminal velocities of spheroidal particles were measured for Re from 250 to 1600, and the equations correlating the shape correction factor K with shape factors are reported.
It has been shown that K is inversely proportional to the ratio of the projected area of the particle to the projected area of a sphere with an equivalent diameter.
