The collection performances of a PTFE laminated filter are compared with those of a polyester felt filter. The particle collection mechanism of the polyester felt filter changes from deep filtration to cake filtration as the dust load increases, while that of the PTFE laminated filter changes from surface filtration to cake filtration. The effect of flowability of dust on the collection performances of the PTFE laminated filter is lower than that of the polyester felt filter.
